It’s getting spooky in here!

In the 7a and 7b, it’s beginning to get creepy. The classes are tackling their first real book as a class, and they’re starting out with a bang! The classes are reading Deep Water by Caroline Gardiner. The story is about an older town that is now underwater and the new town where people live above the dam.  Strange things have been happening, including an old bell that has been ringing, which is coming from the lake. Rumor has it, the bellringer at the old church may be haunting the underwater village, and tormenting the town above. The characters in the story must be brave to solve the mystery, but our 7th graders must be braver to finish this creepy tale, which is perfect for the Halloween season. Let’s see if they all make it through this spooky tale!
